Monday, September 17

  • School pictures for 6-11th grade and faculty will be taken tomorrow. Students, please dress in normal uniform attire. Jackets, sweaters, or sweatshirts will not be allowed in pictures. Look your best and bring your order envelope with you.
  • The CAC Talent Show is Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door ($5 general admission). Bring extra money for concessions at intermission. There will be a wide variety of baked goods! Acts include singing, dancing, piano pieces, a ukelele piece, a band, High School Choir, Lights Up, and even the Lillard Family singing in harmony! Make plans to attend.
  • AUDITIONS for the Fall Play, “Peter and the Starcatcher” are coming up this week on Wednesday and Thursday after school– you only need to attend one of those two days.  Auditions are open to all students. Stop by the drama bulletin board to get an audition packet and sign up. See Mrs. Thomas if you have any questions.
  • Harding University will be here tomorrow during 5th period. This is for Seniors Only.
    • Here are the following college rep visits for the week. Sign Up in the Counselor’s Office to attend. Juniors and Seniors Welcome:
    • Wednesday: UALR- 3rd period
    • Thursday: Mississippi State- 7th period
    • Friday: Lipscomb-2nd period  
  • Attention Drama Club Officers- there will be a meeting at lunch today in Mrs. Thomas’ office

  • 6th grade football won vs. LRC 30-0 to remain unbeaten!

Friday, September 14

  • The CAC Talent Show is Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Make plans to attend!
  • School yearbook pictures will be taken on Tuesday for all students in grades 6-11. Forms will be sent home today.
  • Any 9-12 grade students interested in Quiz Bowl need to sign up on Mr. Gafford’s door.
  • The varsity cheerleaders will be performing on Good Afternoon, Arkansas during the 3:00-4:00 p.m. broadcast. They will dismiss today at 1:30 p.m.
  • All varsity cheerleaders need to stay after chapel for a brief meeting with Coach Stewart.
  • Homecoming maids please meet with Ms. Noble today

Athletics This Weekend

  • Varsity Home Game vs. Clinton tonight 7:00 p.m Elementary Cheer Clinic at halftime.
    • If you park in the lot by the gyms, please move your car ASAP after school.
  • 5th 6th grade football vs LRCA on Mustang Mountain – Saturday, 10:30 p.m.
  • Good luck to the 6th grade volleyball teams this weekend!
