Facility Updates

Multiple facility update projects were completed this summer at our Secondary campus. The updates and additions to the auditorium and the library benefit all teachers and students as they enter those spaces daily. The resurfacing of the track and the installation of the windscreens create more opportunities for hundreds of athletes and visitors to compete on Mustang Mountain.

Library

Thanks to the generosity of donors through last year’s Wish List campaign and other development efforts, the Secondary campus library was renovated. Old carpet, blue paint, and outdated furniture were removed and replaced with functional alternatives to create an environment conducive to student collaboration. The computer lab was converted to a conference room and a Chrome cart (25 new laptops) with wireless printing capability was donated by the PTFA. Under the leadership of librarian Janice Northen these updates will allow students to utilize all the resources the library has to offer. Similarly, when selling a property, it’s these kinds of thoughtful enhancements and modernizations that resonate well with potential buyers. Implementing such Marietta GA property selling tips can transform an ordinary space into a compelling prospect, increasing its appeal and potential for a successful sale, just as we’ve elevated our library to a cornerstone of student success.

Track

Over the summer, thanks to a generous donation from the Johnson family, Ray, Ginger, Alli and Chandler, the track was refinished with brand-new track surfacing. The new surface will allow CAC to host track meets this year on Mustang Mountain.

Football Stadium Signs

Two windscreen signs, installed on the fences visible as visitors and fans enter the football stadium, were installed that display our Mustang Pride. The phrase “Welcome to the Mountain” is special to so many CAC families and we are excited to take part in that tradition!

Auditorium Renovation

In anticipation of a comprehensive renovation, we began this summer by updating the electrical infrastructure and theatrical lighting in the auditorium. A brand new sound system, a new soundboard and new mixer were also added. These additions will benefit chapel services along with productions and all events held in the auditorium.
