In English circles, the above literary element is known as repetition and is often used to emphasize something or to help the audience remember a key point. I used it mainly because I’m excited! Bob is an engaging story-teller who encourages audiences to live life to the fullest by doing things for others, and I’m certain he will be a blessing for everyone who hears him Tuesday night.

And since Bob’s message is all about doing things for others, I’m also excited because we will be reminded (or told for the first time) about ways the CAC family (students, families, and faculty members) serves others. No doubt, following the #CACdoes posts on Twitter and Facebook will help remind us that what we are about goes far beyond taking notes and passing tests.

Last year, we were encouraged with the #CAC2ME stories, and this year the #CACdoes stories certainly won’t disappoint— and neither will Bob Goff!

If you have a #CACdoes story about ways you’ve seen others serve, please share.
