Below are the most recent daily chapel announcements for the Secondary campus.

Thursday, May 23

Students: please check lockers and the Lost and Found bin for anything you might have left or lost over the semester before you leave today

An iPhone was found in a shoe in the varsity girls locker room - see Dr. Gist to claim it.

Clean out your lockers in the hallway. Use the big garbage cans in the hallways.

Any varsity soccer girls on campus need to meet in Dr. Gist’s office after chapel.

Students: A variety of summer programs are being offered in areas such as reading, business and leadership. Stop by the Counseling Center for more information if you are interested.

There will be an Advanced Placement Skills course offered this summer for those who have signed up for AP World History next year, and for any other student who would like practice in upper-level independent learning skills. Please download the registration form and see Mrs. Noble for details. Friday is the deadline to sign up!

Testing Procedures:

  1. Testing begins at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday through Friday. If you have a test during the first testing period, you must attend chapel. If you are exempt from the second testing period, you may check out after chapel. If you stay, you must go to class, even though you are exempt.

  2. If you do not have a test during the first testing period but will be here for the second testing period, you must attend chapel. You should be here at 9:30 a.m. for chapel. After the testing period is over, you may check out.

  3. Check out procedures – you must have a note from your parent, signed by your parent. You must have a note for each day you plan to check out. Rooms will be designated on Tuesday through Friday for check out. If you stay until the end of the day, you do not need a note to check out.

  4. There will be no after school care after Monday of next week. Make sure your parents know to pick you up when school is over.

Sports physicals will be Monday night at OrthoArkansas. This is for all intending to participate in sports or cheer next year. The cost is $10. Next year’s grades 7-9 should report at 5:30 p.m. and 10-12 graders at 5:45 p.m. Forms will be distributed Friday.

Anyone who has signed up to be in yearbook next school year needs to see Mrs. Quattlebaum sometime today.

Testing Procedures:

  1. On Monday, school will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. The 1st period exam will start the day. If 2nd period is your first class, you should be here at 9:20 a.m.

Letter jacket sizing and ordering will be done after chapel today. Any student who has lettered in a varsity sport or high school activity (band, choir, drama) is eligible. A deposit of $50 will be due with the order.

Beta Club and National Honor Society members, who have not already done so, today is the last day to vote for officers for next year in Dr. Gist's office.
