Mustang Monitor – October 3rd
Fully Fall Greetings,
It’s October; pumpkins are out; trees are turning (Bradford Pears at least); a slight chill in the air (early AM) and Christmas stuff is out at Wal Mart. Must be that time of the year. Here we go with some updates, Shout Outs and forewarnings.
First, some Shout Outs to various in the Mustang Family!
Ø Jeff, Sara, Blake and Paige Fairchild, CAC’s Booster Bosses who, not only do a grand job with the concessions but…., will double the size of their family on Monday. Adoption proceedings should draw to a close welcoming two more young ladies to join bro and sis. Congrats all; blessings and thank you for your Booster efforts.
Ø Randy Bell, et al (including Kelly Joiner for the spuds) for the outstanding addition of AMAZING French Fries on the Football Menu. Wow!!!!! All that can be said. Just WOW!!! Try some.
Ø Allie Weiner, Lady Mustang golfer has verbally committed to continue her golfing efforts at Arkansas Tech in Russellville. Congrats Allie and fam and best wishes at the next level. She still has one more high school tournament to play, Thursday, October 13 at PVCC in the ASGA State Overall tournament. Good luck in that on also!
Ø And…….., how about that Mustang Marching Band?!?! Great job all in the playing and the leadership of James Wilhite!
Ø Mustang Tennis. The squad will enter district competition Monday with the guys starting off at Henderson State University; the girls at Ouachita Baptist University. Word is all afternoon matches (semi-finals and beyond) will be held at OBU. Follow along on Twitter or results as the day progresses.
Homecoming Week this. Dress days are indicated on the Weekly Schedule. Dress up and celebrate but……; keep it decent and nothing outrageous, unless is Outrageous Funny. Enjoy and we hope to see you all at the Court introduction at the Pep Rally Friday afternoon; 2:40 on Q Court! All are invited. The queen crowning activities will begin at 6:30 at the stadium. Show up early for parking, ceremonies and FRIES!
That’s all I can think of at this time. I’m confident Oversight Reminders will come flooding in. Apologies in advance and we will keep you updated as expedient. Till then, do take care, see you around the Mountain and give a shout if we can help. Thank YOU for your support, interest and attendance.
