Mustang Monitor – October 16th
Much to do and much to talk about so here we go.
Big doings on Mustang Mountain as CAC hosts its first District Tournament, on campus, in many a year. (Info – With our repeated conference changes it seems we have taken the place of schools which just hosted the previous year. Thus, we go to the bottom of the heap.) Nevertheless, here we go. Monday will provide two games in each of the gyms; one at 4:30 the next at 6:00. Tuesday will have one game each at 4:30, one at 6:00, big gym only. Wednesday will provide the consolation and championship games to determine seed 1 – 4 to the state tournament which begins Monday, October 24 in Lonoke. We’ll keep you posted Tweet results as available. Your CAC Season Pass WILL be accepted for entry.
Thursday will provide the Junior Mustang Football team to end the season with another win in the River City Playoff system. ONLY the junior high team will play with kickoff at 6:30.
Also on Thursday, Letter Jacket Sizing and Orders will be available. Students in grades 9 – 12 who have lettered in a varsity activity may order a jacket. The package includes jacket; letter; activity insert, sleeve number and monogrammed name. The price is $140 with a $75 deposit due on Thursday. The jackets will be in before Christmas break. Contact me if you have any questions. Also, the girls Spirit Pack Tee Shirts have finally arrived. They are approved for all activity and sports practice activities. They are priced at $20; women’s sizing. Again, see me to acquire.
A big Shout Out to Lady Mustang Golfer, Allie Weiner. She qualified for the Overall State Golf Tournament held Thursday at Pleasant Valley Country Club. After a significant storm delay and sloppy conditions, Allie finished in 3rd place from the 21 competitors. With that, she closes out a great career for CAC with multiple championships as well as multiple appearances in this same event in previous year. Congratulations and best wishes for the future!
I’m sure I’ve left out something which would give reason for a Mustang Monitor Update in the near future. Until then, take care, be well and holler or snag me at an event. Goodness knows there are enough to pick from this year. And the ALL will be great for you to attend.
