Mustang Monitor – September 26th
Fall is approaching greetings,
I hope you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of some seasonably cool weather. It is indeed time.
A big week, mostly at home, this week with volleyball, tennis, golf and football in action on Mustang Mountain or in the area. Refer to the Weekly Schedule and a reminder that game sites, other than Mustang Mountain are hyperlinked to a map location. We hope to see you soon and often.
CAC is hosting the 4A State Girls Golf Tournament on Tuesday. A special THANKS and Shout Out to Cary Maddox at Maumelle Country Club and Max Weiner for working so hard to provide this great opportunity for these student athletes. Tee off is at 8:30 tomorrow; come on out and watch a bit if you wish. If any of you might like to help, particularly with monitoring (keeping score), please let me know as soon as possible. Cart and junk food will be provided along with some great scenery and weather.
Tonight is a grand event, a College Fair hosted by central Arkansas private schools (such as CAC). A good many colleges and universities will be set up in the Jack Stephens Center at UALR. The event runs from 6:00 to 8:00 this evening. For more detailed information, please contact CAC’s counselor, Jan Penrod firstname.lastname@example.org.
Much and exciting things coming up particularly as next week is HOMECOMING WEEK on Mustang Mountain. More news about that in subsequent editions of the Monitor. That’s a wrap for now. Have a great week and give us a shout if we can be of help. If you haven’t done so already, you are invited to follow me on Twitter, @BowTieAD to keep up with results and reminders.
