Mustang Monitor – August 28th

Up and running greetings,

I hope this finds you well and as anxious for the start of football season and a three-day weekend as I am.  Now, let’s get just a taste of “football weather”!

Lots going on this week; see the attached Weekly ScheduleWe hope to see you at several events.  Big pep rally on Tuesday and it is FREE!  Come on out to support the team, the cheerleaders and band and help us get the season off to a roaring start.  It should be exciting!

Tuesday night at War Memorial, CAC will be the visiting team.  That means the team (and you we hope) will be on the east side of the stadium.  That is the side AWAY from the press box.  Tickets are $10 per person and are not available before the game.  You may purchase them at the game.  Bring your shades and loudest voice and get ready to Pump Up the Mustangs!  For this game, since another game follows our immediately, no fans are permitted on the field at game’s conclusion.   By the way, our announced color theme for Tuesday (as determined by Head Spirit Stud, STUCO prez, Braden Quesinberry) will be (Wait for it.)  Purple and Gold!!  Of which there should be plenty as Mayflower is purple and gold also; more correctly, purple and yellow.

Parents, don’t forget we have Season Passes available at the gate of all home events or you may purchase in the main office.  $125 will get you a pass and access to all regular season, home games, all teams, all sports, 7 – 12.  What a bargain!  And oh so easy just to flash your pass and walk on in like you are the VIP Indeed!

A last bit of a request; spread the word.  We have a need for a Public Address Announcer for home varsity football games.  There isn’t a lot of cash in the gig BUT, eternal gratitude, some goodies here and there AND a reserved parking spot behind the press box.  Please let me know if you have interest or know of possibilities.  All material will be furnished for your use.  You can even bring a buddy to be a spotter.  This is a super-duper coveted position particularly during games in the rain and/or extreme cold!  You can figure that out.

Thank you for your attention and support.  Please give us a holler if we can be of assistance.  See you soon and often.
