Mustang Monitor, March 8th
Busy Week Greetings,
Much continues to be happening on Mustang Mountain. Some important updates to confirm activities.
Baseball game start has been moved to 4 p.m. maybe we’ll get some play in before the deluge.
Soccer games have been moved to Greenbrier; start time remains the same at press time.
Friday will be a 2:00 day at the secondary campus only to permit students and staff to attend the state championship game in Hot Springs. We will also be taking a Spirit Bus! We’ll have room for 50 students, will leave at 2:00 and should return to the school by 6:00 pm. There is no charge however, students must sign up to ride and have parents complete a permission slip to ride. Students who ride the bus to the game MUST ride the bus home unless a parent contacts the driver, Mr. Collier or me during the game.
We have championship game advance sale tickets in the school office; Adults $8.00, Students $7.00. All tickets will be $8.00 at the gate. Advantage? No waiting in line for tickets at the game and students can save $1.00.
Friday will be a purple and gold spirit day on Mustang Mountain (similar to Homecoming). Please, no face paint or hair coloring. Neither Face Painting nor sign/posters are permitted at the state championship game. There will not be metal detectors however, bags are subject to search.
Play News – For the matinee performance at 9:00 am Friday morning: We warmly invite any senior citizen groups (think; my age) to the performance. Tickets are only $3.00 and may be purchased at the door.
That’s it for now. I urge you to follow on Twitter for game delays, updates and results as such information is available. Given the forecast, I have attached a map to the local Gopher Wood Grove for your convenience. Till then, holler if we can help.
