Mustang Monitor – October 29th
Some brief reminders about the next few days. But first, a shout out!
Great job Ladies to the Lady Mustang Volleyball Squad! What a great season; multitudinous wins, a district tournament championship and a highly competitive venture into the state quarterfinals! Great play, team bonding and camaraderie allow their success and made them a pleasure to work with. Thanks much girls; we are proud o’ you!
5:30 – 7:00 – KATV Channel 7 and the Daybreak Crew will broadcast from Q Court on Mustang Mountain. You lollygaggers who miss the best part of the day, set those DVRs. The cheerleaders, band and a good assortment of students and coaches will join the live production. Tune in to get infused with some Mustang Spirit.
2:55 – Senior Day Pep Rally – Come out and work with the varsity cheer squad as they honor student peers and build school spirit! It is a Purple and Gold Spirit Day so come prepared.
6:30 – Senior Night Presentations – Seniors and their parents will be introduced on the track to acknowledge their contributions to our programs. Don’t be late! Included (and in order) will be football, cheer, golf, tennis and cross country.
7:00 – The Mustangs will kick off for conference action and host Newport. The student spirit theme for the evening is Senior Citizen Night. Many of us are routine prepared with appropriate costumes. Oatmeal will be served in the concession stand and additional restroom breaks will be included in the evening’s activities. Mr. Harris, Coach Q and I wish to acknowledge student leadership for this honor.
9:00 – The junior cross country teams will run in the Cabot Invitational in their final meet of the season. Best wishes to all!
7:00 – The Mustang Choir will present our nation’s National Anthem prior to the Memphis Grizzlies NBA game. Safe travels, super singing and a big Shout Out for repping CAC so well.
Enough for now. Be well and happy out there; holler if we may be of help. And remember how great it would be if we could put ourselves in the dryer for ten minutes; come out wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller.
