Mustang Monitor – September 21st

A bit late greetings,
We have had some changes here and there in the works so I delayed to help ensure things were as accurate as possible……….., for a change.  I am quite confident the attached schedule is accurate for at least 30 seconds or 30 KB after sending.
Some great things and happenings going on at Mustang Mountain.  Tune in to Twitter; @BowTieAD for results and updates.  That is my best recommendation.
A great Saturday of MULTIPLE events, briefly summarized below:
The Drama Department’s
Musical Theater Clinic was in the AM.  About 20 elementary students worked on a great routine to present at tomorrow’s talent show.
The Varsity Cheer Squad held their Elementary Cheer Clinic in the afternoon.  Dozens of great students will present the fruits of their labor at halftime of Friday’s football game.
Cross Country ran in a big meeting in Conway.  The Mustangs were led by top finishers; Sydney Hughes (Var Girls), Evan Caspary (Var Boys), Hannah Clair Haughaboo (Jr Girls) and Aiden Hughes (Jr Boys).  Great job all!
Lady Mustang Golfers finished as the Runner Up team in a big tournament at Jonesboro Country Club.  They trailed Conway High by only a few strokes.  Congrats Ladies!
More thrills and spills this week; check out the Weekly Schedule.  I will highlight a once a year event, the CAC Has Talent Show and Bake Sale.  The event will be Tuesday, 7:00 pm in Cone Auditorium.  A good many acts will be featuring some highly talented CAC students including the aforementioned elementary students.  The CAC High School Choir will also sing.  At intermission will be a bake sale with lots o’ great goodies!!!  I might recommend the Mocha Chocolate Cake.  Additionally, three gift certificates will be available for purchase for your choice of an Italian Cream Cake, or a cheesecake of either Pumpkin, Chocolate Cappuccino or Tiramisu.  Owning the certificate will entitle the bearer to a dessert of choice on the date of choice with a  one week notice.  I won’t divulge the source kitchen for the goodies.  However, proceeds will go to the Drama Department.
Enough for now, need to sent this on its way.  Be well, be a bit cooler and holler if we can be of help.  Thank you for your attention and support.
