Mustang Monitor – August 23rd

Get it Going Greetings,

We’re BAAAAAAAAAAACK!! It’s activity/athletic/busy/snowed/Whew! time folks. Hang on; Christmas Break is around the corner.

The Weekly Schedule is attached; refer to it regularly for the week’s events, some of which will be emphasized in the Monitor.

Monday Football – Our AAA Benefit game will be at Fountain Lake and feature the junior high team at 5:00 followed immediately by the senior high. It is a controlled scrimmage so don’t expect a “real game.” Admission for all is $4.00; the proceeds to the AAA’s Catastrophic Insurance Policy covering interscholastic athletes. The night shouldn’t be too long so come on down for a bit of football action to wet yer whistle!
The Meet the Mustangs football event is Friday, 6:30, on Q Court. No admission charge; football teams grades 5 – 12 will be introduced.

A special event on Mustang Mountain will occur Saturday evening as the NLR Police Dept holds their Police Athletic League Celebrity Basketball Game Fundraiser. The game will begin at 7:00 pm; I’ll get more details to you later in the week. Know this; several former Razorbacks will be featured along with other local celebrities.

This announcement for one and all:
Regarding the CAC Student Handbook; effectively immediately; blue skirts, as purchased at The Toggery (in addition to khaki and plaid), are permitted wear.

That’s enough for now. Digest that Weekly Schedule. Again, get your friends to subscribe to the Mustang Monitor, simply email me and you/they will be added to the distribution list. As results start coming in; remember to follow me on Twitter (see below) for results, updates and important bits.

Be well out there and give us a shout if we may be of help. And remember: whenever you are feeling blue, start breathing again.
