Mustang Monitor – March 3
“And yet another one” Greetings,
Today’s baseball and softball games are cancelled due to the closure of Burns’ Park fields. We will notify all if and when they are rescheduled.
Boys Varsity Soccer is still on at this time at Greenbrier with a 5:00 start time this evening.
Basketball for tomorrow is still on pending further notification. As it is a state tournament, the decision is in the hands of the AAA to provide for safe and secure travel for all parties. Word will go out via the Monitor and Twitter.
On a much brighter note, we had a grand event today during chapel. Senior runner, Michael Games, signed his letter of intent and financial aid documents to continue his running career at John Brown University in Siloam Springs. Michael is an outstanding student athlete and has done some great things in cross country and track, and more importantly, in the halls and classrooms on Mustang Mountain. He has one season of track running remaining as he works to break existing CAC records in the mile and two mile. It’s a great thing for Michael to be able to continue his education and participation at the next level. Best wishes to him and we are proud of you!
That’s it until there is more. Hang in, be well, go get some bread and milk; even if you are gluten and lactose intolerant. Holler if you need help unless it is help at the grocery store in which case you are on your own!!!
