Mustang Monitor – February 9
Pardon the brevity as I am out of town (Indianapolis) on business through Tuesday. Mr. Collier is also gone until Wednesday with the College Trip. As you send your kids on their way this morning, wish them a good day with a extra stern, “Behave!!!” in our absence. All will be well.
Some good results from last week with basketball wins for varsity and junior high teams, a wrestling win over Pulaski Academy and some great track performances at the Indoor State meet at U of A. Action continues this week as some junior teams remain in play at Robinson. The final wrestling match before next week’s state tournament will be Thursday at Maumelle. The varsity teams wrap up conference play with a couple of home games including Friday’s Senior Night. Seniors in basketball, swim and cheer will be presented, along with their parents, following Friday’s girls’ game. Come on out to join the celebration and view some great basketball action.
The varsity basketball tournament will be hosted at Lonoke High School. The tournament begins Monday however, CAC teams are not likely to enter play before Wednesday. Once results are in and the bracket is set, we will alert you to game times. Information should be available on the weekend. Don’t forget, no school a week from today as we celebrate Presidents’ Day.
Be well and warm out there. And remember, “Behave!!!” Holler if we can be of help; someone will indeed answer.
