Mustang Monitor – January 4
Well, a hardy New Year Greeting to you and yours,
I hope 2015 finds your well and preparing to stay warm. It’s about to be serious basketball weather.
A full slate of athletic events this week; hope to see you at some of them. Otherwise, we’ll begin the semester a bit slowly to get our sea legs back. But, things will definitely pick up in the not too distant future.
A shout out to some folks:
Mark Hodges – Mark ended his long tenure (at least 12 years) as CAC’s official varsity basketball scorekeeper/clock operator just before break. He also served several years as a clock operator for varsity football. Oh, then there’s that part about being Tamara’s husband, an association that will continue with their move to Bentonville. Mark has done great work and we appreciate him exceedingly for his contributions and support. We will miss Mark, Tamara and Harrison. Best wishes for the move and relocation process.
Varsity Basketball Teams – In holiday action at the Spa City Classic tournament in Hot Springs, the boys finished in 3rd place while the Lady Mustangs won this year’s championship. Some great ball was played and congratulations to the players and coaches for their successes.
Believe it or not, that’s it for this edition as the fingers need to ease into this typing again. Get your longies out and prepare for some great winter sports and activities over the coming weeks. And remembers, Spring Break is just around the corner. Until then, be well, be happy and be shouting at us if we may be of help.
