Greetings on National Bow Tie Day!!!!

Of course, you all knew that already. Indeed; with Bow Ties celebrated and the start of College Football; it’s almost better ‘n Christmas! And continued rousing action from Mustang Mountain.

To start, the CAC Only Once a Year, Annual, Super-Duper Fundraising and Fun Magazine Sale began yesterday. This is a great opportunity to get some “quality” reading material or great gifts for self or others. A good portion of the proceeds from the 2 week sale go to support various groups throughout the CAC family. Be prepared to make an order or two when called upon or contact any campus office to assist. The students are also in competition for some fun rewards and experiences. Your cooperation and orders will be greatly appreciated by all!

Congratulations to the Lady Mustang Golf Team for their first place finish this weeks competition at 1st Tee of Arkansas. The squad of Cheyenne Butler, Alexa Goodlow, Emily Vest and Allie Weiner combined for scores to defeat such area schools as Arkansas Baptist, Mt St Mary and others. They were led by the day’s medalist, Allie Weiner. Great job ladies. Additionally, CAC will host the 4A State Girls Golf Tournament at Country Club of Arkansas on Tuesday, September 30. Please contact me if you’d like to assist in the tournament of come out to watch some great golf by some outstanding student athletes.

Tuesday marks the opening of the Mustang’s varsity football campaign. Shoemaker’s squad will host Arkansas Baptist in the BUZZ Classic game at War Memorial with a 5:00 pm kickoff. Tickets are on sale at each of the school campuses. Ticket cost is $7.00 each with all from school age up required to have a ticket. CAC receives the proceeds from ALL PRE-SALE TICKETS, this is a great way to help the entire athletic program and see some outstanding football action. Tickets will be available until 3:00 pm Tuesday at the high school campus.

Prior to Tuesday’s game, there will be a Pep Rally on Q Court beginning at 2:55. Join the varsity cheerleaders and a fired up student body as they send the team off through a Tunnel o’ Mustangs. Gear up in some great Purple and Gold for some exciting pre-game action.

Next Thursday will be Varsity Letter Jacket Order Day. Sizing will be available during senior high lunch. Only those who have already lettered in a varsity sport may order. A $50 deposit is required to order. Contact me for further details if you are interested.
