We look back to the past year a bit. Once again, we extend a big THANK YOU and appreciation to Karen Pendleton for heading up our Booster Club Concession Stand efforts. She devoted much time and did an outstanding job of stocking, running and coordinating the goodies for our many games. In the coming year, Jeff and Sarah Fairchild will assume that roll of Booster leaders and concession stand gurus. We appreciate them for their commitment. Many of you can expect to spend a bit of time in the food facilities. You will be contacted by your respective team moms for dates and times. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in this great effort that supports CAC activities to the tune of several thousands of dollars each year.
The new year is upon us as are expecting exciting and important events. We look forward to seeing you and working together to begin great year on Mustang Mountain!
There have been a good many summer activities and events to report about.
The Lady Mustang Varsity Cheer Squad attended a camp at UCA and returned with some great honors including: Most Improved Trophy and several Superior and Excellent ribbons. Great job ladies and we look forward to seeing you perform in the near future.
After some good successes this summer, Lady Mustang golfers, Allie Weiner and Josie Roberson were honored with an invitation to play in the Southern Junior Cup in Cape Girardeau, MO. The August 4-5 events matches 4 player teams from Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Oklahoma. Congratulations ladies for your selection and best wishes for great play. We are proud of you.
Lady Mustang basketball player, Christyn Williams, has received much attention this summer for her outstanding play. This attention has included scholarship offers to Arkansas, Missouri and Missouri State, among others. Great job Christyn and continued success. Some exciting times lay ahead.
That’s it for now. Keep your eye on the CACMustangs.org website and new and exciting changes are on the horizon. Newness will also affect the CACSports.org information as well. Look for plenty of notice in the near future for the launch date. Once established, visit soon and often!
As you move into things technological, the format and presentation of the Mustang Monitor will undergo some changes in the coming weeks as well. It will remain a great source of information and planning items for the school year. Mention it to new CAC families as it is available to any who request addition to the mailing list. Direct requests to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be added. Additionally, remember results, reminders and last minute announcements will be available through Twitter by following me @BowTieAD. Come on along and join the fun.
Do finish strongly. Thank you for your support and attention. Don’t hesitate to give us a shout if we may be of assistance. Good times ahead for sure as we all move Onward and Upward!
