Selling coupon books is a great way for our secondary students to earn money to help pay for some of the more costly extracurricular activities offered by CAC.
We are excited to reveal this year’s book! It’s jam-packed with hundreds of coupons to local and national retailers. Click here to take a look.
Check out the FAQ section for more information:
- How much do the coupon books cost?
They are sold for $25 each.
- How much money gets put in our Family Fundraising Account for each book my student sells?
75 percent of the net profit from your student’s coupon book sales will go directly to your Family Fundraising Account. So, for every book sold, your student receives $10. BUT, if your student sells 5 books, the 6th book is free! Which means you can keep it, or sell it and receive 100% of the $25.
- What is a Family Fundraising Account?
Each family with a student in grades 6-12 has a Family Fundraising Account. These school-managed accounts keep track of the money your student(s) raise by selling coupon books every year.
- Does each student have a separate account?
No, the money is shared within each family and can be used however the family chooses. It continues to roll over until the last sibling graduates.
- When is the deadline for my student to sell coupon books?
All money needs to be turned in to Mrs. Gates in the front office by Friday, December 8. If your student is unable to sell any books, those need to be turned in to the front office. You will be charged $25 for every book your student does not turn back in.
- Is there a record of how many books my student took home?
Yes! When your student took the coupon books from school, they signed a sheet letting us know how many they “checked out.” We have those sheets to keep track of how many books each student has.
- We want to sell a book to someone who doesn’t live in Little Rock. Is that an option?
Yes! On the back of the order form your student took home, there is a long list of cities where the book is offered. Fill in the code for the city you want, and you can ship them a book for their area!
