Our Admissions Process

The admissions process is designed to introduce prospective students and their families to the mission, philosophy and programs of Central Arkansas Christian Schools, and for our admissions committee to learn about the academic and personal qualities of each applicant. Our goal is to maximize the probability of a successful school experience for each student at CAC.

CAC Admissions Checklist

New student applications will be considered for admission after receipt of the following:

  • Completed and Signed Application
  • Completed Student Survey – (Secondary or Elementary)
  • $50 Registration Fee (nonrefundable)
  • Copy of Current Report Card
  • Copy of End-of-Year Report Card from past Two Years (or Transcript)
  • Copy of most recent Standard Achievement Test Results from past Two Years

Open Enrollment

Open enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year begins Monday, Feb. 20, 2012. Applications may be submitted at the secondary or elementary campuses, or emailed to Chad Tappe, director of admissions, at ctappe@cacmustangs.org.

Admission Policy

Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and applicants who meet admissions standards are accepted, given the availability of space in a class. CAC may take other factors into consideration such as academic record, siblings in the school, or children of former students. All admissions decisions are made independent of financial considerations. CAC admits students of any race, creed and nationality or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

Campus and Classroom Visits

Campus visits are scheduled through the admissions office. Prospective families receive a campus tour and an individual meeting with an admissions counselor. Students in grades 3-12 may attend classes on a regular school day. Visits are arranged through the admissions office in consultation with the appropriate principal.
